AR0234CS is a 2M pixel Global Shutter image sensor launched by ON Semiconductor. The image sensor uses the same 3.0um pixel as AR0144.

As an upgrade of AR0144, the resolution of AR0234 is upgraded from 1M to 2M, and the effective pixel is 1920×1200. The optical size of 1/2.6 inch type matches the corresponding lens very well in the market.

The pixel size of AR0234 is 3.0um. This pixel size is quite satisfactory in industrial and consumer applications. This pixel size will not perform well in low-light environments, but it is sufficient in general application scenarios.

Chief Ray Angle
It supports two CRA angles of 0° and 28°, 0° is more suitable for general industrial applications, and 28° is suitable for compact applications with short back focus, such as UAV obstacle avoidance, code scanning and other applications.

Supports both Parallel and MIPI output methods. The official did not give the exact value, according to the information of AR0144, this parameter should also be defined at the “enough” level.
